Dear ABWA Members & Guests,
It is with deepest regret that the 2008-2009 Board of Directors have voted to deactivate the Frisco Charter Chapter of American Business Women's Association effective April 1, 2009. We have strived over the last several years to grow a vibrant and exciting women's group focused on enhancing ourselves professionally and personnally. Due to lack of participation and our dwindling membership, the Board has spoken to the National office and feel this is the action we must take.

It has been such a pleasure serving you as your Board but more importantly, getting to know each and every one of you as a friend. We hope that we will continue to meet beyond the "walls" of ABWA to help each other grow and prosper. We have decided that what monies are left in the treasury will be dispursed as scholarships to the Frisco Education Foundation.

If you still have an active National membership, you will have the opportunity to transfer your membership to a neighboring chapter. There is one in McKinney, The Colony, and Plano to name a few. If you go to the National website, American Business Women's Association, you can look up all the chapters in the DFW area. We wish you well in the future.
